Last June, we celebrated the 60th annual TanenbaumCHAT Graduation Ceremony—a day filled with joy, celebration, and immense Jewish pride.

“Future leaders of the Jewish community, if I have one message for you, it’s to continue to stand proudly as Jews on college and university campuses, at work, as members of the community, and wherever you may find yourself.” – Dr. Jonathan Levy, Head of School

As we honoured the four years of dedication and hard work of our 284 graduates, we were privileged to welcome Chief Myron Demkiw of Toronto Police Service and his staff to the ceremony. In Judaism, there is a concept called Hakarat Hatov, which emphasizes recognizing and thanking those who support us. This reflects the mitzvah of V’ahavta L’reacha Kamocha, “loving your neighbour as yourself.” We extend our gratitude to the Toronto Police Service, who have watched over us all year, and continue to do so. Their commitment to ensuring not only our physical safety but also our emotional well-being is greatly appreciated.Mazal Tov and Kol Hakavod, Class of 2024! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish as proud TanenbaumCHAT alumni.
