
TanenbaumCHAT launched its TanenbaumCHAT Tastes alumni event series with an exciting coffee tasting experience. Dr. Jordan Lass ’06 and Sara Lass ’07 graciously hosted alumni in their home, sharing their expert coffee knowledge. The event left attendees not only more informed but also highly caffeinated! It was an afternoon brimming with engaging learning, great conversation, and plenty of coffee to savour.
TanenbaumCHAT’s second annual Alumni Trivia Night brought together over 100 alumni for a fun-filled evening of laughs, friendly competition, and impressive trivia skills. The event featured a wide range of topics, including the debut of a staff team led by Guidance Counsellor Richie Stoll ’80. Thank you to Solomon Klein ’05 for hosting and making it a night to remember.


This past winter, TanenbaumCHAT hosted the second annual Alumni 3×3 Basketball Tournament, marking the 30th anniversary of the inaugural Israel Becker Basketball Tournament, held in memory of Israel Becker ’88 z”l. Our alumni were back on the court—passing, dribbling, and driving to the basket just like in their high school days. Kol Hakavod to the ‘Slaughtermelons’ for taking home the championship!

TanenbaumCHAT’s class of 1994 celebrated their 31-year high school reunion. Thank you to the amazing planning committee Shayna (Rosenbaum) Appleby ’94, Michael Bloom ’94, Herbert Brill ’94, Nikki Holland ’94, Jackie (Grunebaum) Horowitz ’94, and Eliana Schonberg ’94. Mazal Tov on this amazing milestone!
The TanenbaumCHAT Music Department celebrated the 18th year of their program by welcoming the Alumni Music Ensemble to the stage for a special performance at the annual Spring Music Concert. The alumni brushed up on their skills and joined the current Grade 12 students on stage. Thank you to music department head Jaclyn Klimitz ’03, music teacher Orly Lewis ’16, and former music teachers Susan Evans and Janice Rose. A huge thank you to all alumni who returned to help make this milestone celebration truly special!



Guidance Counsellor Richie Stoll ’80 visited Israel to connect with TanenbaumCHAT’s Class of 2024 graduates currently spending their Gap Year there. During his visit, Stoll also had the opportunity to meet with alumni who have made Aliyah over the years.
