We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Evan Goldenthal ’02 back to TanenbaumCHAT in the role of Senior Advancement Officer, Alumni Relations.
Evan obtained his Ph.D. in Humanities at York University and subsequently worked at York University in several roles, most recently in the Division of Advancement.

I look forward to connecting with our over 9,000 alumni and continuing to advance the school’s mission, vision and values. In June 2023, PALS, the Peer
Assisted Learning Skills program
run by TanenbaumCHAT’s Centre for Differentiated Learning (CDL), invited Kira Herr ’22 and Gabi Treitel ’22 back to the school to provide students with effective studying and learning tips, in time for the upcoming final exam season.

In March 2023, the TanenbaumCHAT Business Council, under the mentorship of staff advisor Lindsay Masters, held its annual StartUp TanenbaumCHAT conference. The alumni panelists that generously gave their time and shared their expertise were David Freiman ’09 (Software Developer at Float), Eric Masters ’09 (Chief Financial Officer of SoaR Gaming), Erica Stivelman Freiman ’09 (Senior Market Access Manager at Takeda), Michelle Silcoff ’11 (Founder of Bag & Bougie) and Matthew Bogoroch ’14 (Co-founder of Birdseye Global).

In September 2023, we hosted 26 rabbis from across the GTA for our annual Yom Iyun. We were honoured to be joined by two alumni, Rabbi Adam Cutler ’00 and Rabbi Elliott Diamond ’73, who shared their wisdom with our Grade 11 and 12 students.
